Governor Namadi Visits Birnin Kudu to Condole Death of Alhaji Umaru Wazobia

The Governor of Jigawa State, Malam Umar Namadi, paid a condolence visit to Birnin Kudu following the passing of Alhaji Umaru Wazobia on Sunday, 23 November.

During the visit, Governor Namadi offered prayers for the late Alhaji Umaru, asking Allah to grant him mercy and ease his soul.

The gesture was seen as a mark of compassion and solidarity with the bereaved family and the wider community, at a time when the news of his death had deeply affected residents.

Hon. Ado Maje (rtd), the Governor’s Special Assistant on Basic Education Monitoring I in Birnin Kudu Local Government Area, and husband to the late man’s daughter, Zainab Umar, expressed his gratitude to Governor Namadi for the personal visit and to the family for the support shown.

Hon. Maje stated: “This kind of leadership from the Governor of Jigawa demonstrates genuine care and is crucial for fostering peace and development in the state.”

Alhaji Umaru Wazobia was a highly respected professional driver and a prominent community leader, particularly known for his work in the local transport sector.
