NNPC Appoints Two Accomplished Professionals to Key Strategic Leadership Roles

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has announced the appointment of two accomplished professionals to key leadership positions.

In a statement, NNPC revealed that Mr Andy Odeh has been appointed Chief Corporate Communications Officer, while Mrs Morenike Adewunmi will serve as Chief Relations Officer.

Our correspondent understands that Odeh brings over 30 years of extensive experience in communications, oil and gas, and business administration, including 26 years at Nigeria LNG where he held senior roles in Community Relations, Government Relations, and External Relations.

Recognised for his role in corporate rebranding and community development initiatives, he is an alumnus of the University of Jos, University of Lagos, INSEAD Business School, and NIPSS.

Adewunmi, with more than 25 years of legal and corporate relations expertise at Shell Companies in Nigeria, has earned a reputation in stakeholder engagement, regulatory management, and advocacy.

She has held senior positions including Regulatory Affairs Manager and Government Relations Manager, building vital relationships with key government institutions.

Her leadership and emotional intelligence make her a strong addition to NNPC’s strategic team.
